How To Adjust Pedals in Ventana

The pedals in our Ventana are not adjustable. I am wondering if anyone has moved their pedals closer to the driver's seat and if so, how did you achieve? My wife is 5' 4". For her to be comfortable driving it would be good to move the pedals closer to the driver's seat. With the seat all the way forward the pedals are too far away for her comfort.

We have asked the dealer. They are not willing to move the pedals.

I asked Freightliner about this as I had concerns initially such as a blocked out version or something. At 5'8 going on 5'7 it's not the greatest reach for me either. I think I drive more off of cruise control otherwise tippy toe'ing to handle the accelerator.

I also asked freightliner while I was there one time and they also said it couldn’t be done. Or I guess without spending a bunch of money. If you find something out, let us all know as my wife also has that gripe. i am 5’10” going on 5’9” and would like to be able to reach the pedals without hugging the steering wheel column

When I was a kid, I remember my dad making pedal blocks out of 2x4's and an old pair of roller skates so my Mom could drive the pick-up. I'm sure there is something better than a skate key to clamp onto the pedals but it worked for her.

They are adjustable in my 2017DS on a Freightliner chassis.

Right… in 2017 they were adjustable on the DS and higher…. That feature did not come to the Ventana for another year or two.
