just joined the forum. we have a Bay Star Sport 3013. Love crossing the country in it. We are ready for a diesel. Anyone who can give us info to help in purchasing a used Newmar up to 40'.
Are 2020's the last year for quality work until 2024. Would the covid build problems be worked out by now. Would love your 2 cents!

Welcome! Great to have you with us.

It was mostly the lower end manufacturers who fell into the build it and roll it out the door greedfest during the covid frenzy. Thor, Forest River, and the like.

Welcome to the Forum. As mentioned above, much to do about nothing with the quality of Newmar coaches built during COVID in my opinion. I ordered my 2022 Ventana 3407 in late October 2021 and took deliver in April 2022. I only had a short list of piddly things that needed to be squared away by my dealer that Newmar warranty covered without any issues. The build inside and out was quality all the way... (y)

The "COVID COACH" is a BS internet urban legend. Newmar has not noticed warranty defect claims that are substantially different before or after the covid years.

2023 model, no problems

22 model year here and nothing major has happened. We are full time and, other than one night in the paint shop for corrections, we have been in it every night.

Friends have the same year and model, there are a couple things that are different due to supply issues but I don’t believe Newmar had quality issues during Covid.

Ditto on the Newmar build during & post covid F.U.D. My 2023 had some typical new build issues, but none of them noteworthy.
