25 coaches participated in the NKK event this year that just ended a few weeks ago. For many such as me the Balloon Fiesta was a bucket list item and I highly recommend it whether on your own or with a group such as the NKK. Ted and Ruth were the event coordinators and in my 2-1/2 years they were by far the best group leaders I've experienced. I'm happy that they are leading the charge for the 2020 Quartzsite event. Great people and did an outstanding job of coordination.
The balloon fiesta, we did the 2nd half, consisted of early morning "glows" where a few balloons take off before sunrise to light up the skies but also do weather checks. Then the rest whether traditional or shape balloons, they have different days that they do their thing, take to the skies. In the evening they do a sunset glow type of thing where they stand up the balloons but don't actually fly. You are walking among what feels like a sea of balloons. Surreal. Then there were night sky divers and other evening events including concerts.
Fantastic experience, tons of pictures which I'll post soon in a reply as it's on a different computer.
