Just got word AMSolar is no longer.

Website ... unreachable...too bad...

Yep. I reached out to them a few weeks back and the person who answered said he thought they were going out of business within the week. Referred me to some place in Mesa Az.

Sorry to see them go.

I could really use a refresh on 10-2 cables. The “UV Resistant round” cables are giving up…outlet sheath crumbling…inner probably not too far behind. I’ll bandaid it with Eternabond until we get home next fall.

Anyone know of a supplier or truly UV resistant solar cables. The round is nice for gland nut entry.

I wish I could get more mounting feet too…one more panel (that’s what they all say)

Back to trip prep …

Maybe call SES Indiana? They're my go to solar peeps now.

Great idea!

Did they rewire your roof? And a more robust combiner with circuit protection?

I’m thinking about switching the combiner in the roof and hopefully find cables that can handle the sun. Although, it’s about 10 years old…guess I can’t expect miracles. Just funny that the coax going to my DISH looks better than my Solar wires.

No. They didn’t touch the solar other than moving my mess into the battery bay. I keep mine parked in covered storage so hope that helps.
