I'm looking to put in an Anderson ultimate 5th wheel hitch in to pull my 24 Z3100 does anyone have any advise on whether this is a good hitch for this application

I don't have a Brinkley, but I do have a Anderson hitch.
1. I have the aluminium one so it is very easy to remove if you need the room in the truck bed.
2. It's a solid connection. No chucking. But....a little to solid for me. If/when I upgrade to a new rig
I plan to get the Gen Y gooseneck.
3. You have to raise the trailer higher to hitch/unhitch. One problem I had was with the original
landing gear (Lippert) it raised so slowly that, due to friction, the ball had trouble releasing and the
added strain on the landing gear kept popping the fuse. The landing gear was rated for 5,000 lbs
and my pin wt was just over 4,000 lbs. Once I upgraded to a hydraulic system the ball released
more easily.
