Announcing the NKK Oregon Explorers Chapter

This e-mail was sent out by DJ & Linda Thommen, Oregon State Directors for Newmar Kountry Klub, as a follow-up to attendees after their Newport, OR rally last month. As the newly elected Secretary/Treasurer for the Oregon Explorers Chapter, they granted permission for me to post it here:

Good Afternoon Oregon Kountry Klub Members and Friends!

We are delighted to announce that Oregon's Kountry Klub chapter has been reinstated and has adopted a new name: The Oregon Explorers!

An amazing new team of officers has been elected, and they are looking forward to welcoming new members.

Presidents: Wally and Melinda Bryant
Vice Presidents: Dana and Rae Anne Sheets
Treasurer and Secretary: Mark Lawler

As you may already know, membership in a Kountry Klub chapter has some really great benefits. Here is a list of some of the many perks that chapter members are able to enjoy.

• Chapter members are the first to be informed about upcoming chapter events. While events are posted on the Kountry Klub website for all members to view, chapter members have the added benefit of being informed directly about what's happening within the chapter.
• Chapter members have the ability to help shape the chapter. They can influence policy and event decisions through their input and votes.
• Chapter members have the privilege of wearing the chapter's bar on their name tag. In this way, they are able to display their support for the chapter and strengthen camaraderie among members.

We just recently joined this chapter, and encourage you to consider joining as well. Membership dues for the first year are $20 (which will include the remainder of 2024, through the end of 2025). Dues for additional years will be $10. [Note that first year dues are higher to offset the cost of acquiring and mailing chapter bars.] To access the chapter application form, click here.
