Anybody else loosing lug nut covers?

1 year and 10k miles, all good, this trip I've lost 5 lug nut covers, normal interstate driving, in fact most roads were pretty smooth, I plan on putting a strip of double sided tape on them, where is a good source for replacements?

yes, I removed them to clean the rims, I have done so in the past though

Hmm.. Well, Newmar sells them for $32 (for my year/model anyway). But a quick glance shows yours for $8. Its a spartan part....

Maybe a dab of silicon RTV will keep them in place?
I replaced mine with screw on caps. Got them on Amazon.

Good point. I have used clear silicon on the center disk of the front and tag rims...after I lost one. Worked since.

I'm a bit surprised with what Newmar asks for their coaches that they're using covers and not chromed solid steed lugs.

This comment is getting old!
When a product is engineered well enough that it is virtually impossible to find fault, except a few minor cosmetic issues! I would say the complainers had no grounds!!!

Alas, sadly most products in today's market, fall short in both categories.

The price one is willing to pay, sets that said price, The product will find it's way to the long list of failures, when it costs more to build, than it's true value.

As an engineer, I don't have the luxury of regarding a failure that renders the sole lug socket I'm carrying useless as a "cosmetic issue" especially if a tire actually needs to be replaced. I'm not reefing on a 1 1/4" or 1 3/8" lug with a socket that's now ~1/8" too large because that manufacturer went with what was good enough.

Thought about that, but don't think so, these are travel days, close to the coach all day
