yes, I removed them to clean the rims, I have done so in the past though6 1/2 years....27K miles, I still have them all. Were they removed recently?
Good point. I have used clear silicon on the center disk of the front and tag rims...after I lost one. Worked since.Maybe a dab of silicon RTV will keep them in place?
I replaced mine with screw on caps. Got them on Amazon.
This comment is getting old!I'm a bit surprised with what Newmar asks for their coaches that they're using covers and not chromed solid steed lugs.
Thought about that, but don't think so, these are travel days, close to the coach all dayDid it fall off or did somebody actually maybe steal it
Was this in response to what I said?As an engineer, I don't have the luxury of regarding a failure that renders the sole lug socket I'm carrying useless as a "cosmetic issue" especially if a tire actually needs to be replaced. I'm not reefing on a 1 1/4" or 1 3/8" lug with a socket that's now ~1/8" too large because that manufacturer went with what was good enough.
