Just got done repairing my 400D system and I thought I would pass along some info to the other D.Y.I.er's out there.
My burner heat would not restart sometimes and when looking into it, I gave the motor a smack and it started running again.
However I noticed a growling noise while running and figured I needed a pump/blower motor. 500.00???? I don't think so!
Looks like the same motor type motor that powers a drill. Tore it down and after 20.00 worth of brushes from a hardware store and dressing the commutator, it's up and running again.
How can they charge that much? I found similar spec. motors on-line for less than 50 bucks.
Plus the fact that nobody stocks them anyway, Someone is missing the boat.
Ahhh, venting makes it better...
