Wanting to go to the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum in Kentucky.. Has anyone got any campground suggestions for a 43ft coach with a tow vehicle??

thanks!

We stayed here back in 2017. Got one of the sites down by the river. Back then the place was called Little Farm on the River RV Resort. Was ok for what we needed which was just a place to stay to visit the ARK.

We stayed here, it has been some years back. We were there the first year it was opened. It looks like the park has more sites today.
2016 is when we were there.

If you stay at this one you will have maybe a half mile of a very tight road up to the entrance of the campground.

Meeting traffic coming the other way gets interesting since there is not really a shoulder to speak of.

Even in our old class c a dually pickup was essentially part way off the road to make room for us both passing each other.

Not sure how far away it is but Oh! Kentucky campground was easy in and out in our way to Florida this year.

Lots of room for bigger rigs and turning was fine for the Superstar.

We have stayed at the Rising Star Casino RV park a couple times. The park is well maintained but is a bit of a drive to the Ark and Creation museum. If you choose to stay double check the roads, when we were there a couple months back 156 was closed at Patriot had to follow a detour into the countryside which worked but was a surprise. There is a ferry that crosses the river from the casino to Rabbit Hash which can help reduce the drive but I probably would not take my coach on the ferry due to the narrow roads on the Rabbit Hash side, auto was fine. Folks that stay in the RV park are able to use the casino hotel amenities and you also get free breakfast at the casino restaurant.

It was little tight in places but no more than we see in other areas we travel. We were fine pulling a 5th wheel in.
