The weekend of the 23rd of Oct. we are going up to Ohio University to see our grand daughter who is in the OU marching band.
My problem If anyone has done this trip recently, can you tell me which would be the better route, travelling from Huntington WV. There are 2 different routs being shown. One is to cross the Ohio river there and follow Ohio rt. 7 all the way or the other is to follow WV rt, 2 up to Point Pleasant WV, cross the river there and pick up 7 for the balance. Both routes seem to be about the same driving distance and milage so it does not seem to make much differanvce as far as that is concerned. My only concern is road constuction that I may encounter.
