Hello. We have a 2007 Roadtrek Adventeous RS. The rear bench seat, made by Atwood, reclines to make a bed. It uses an electric motor that uses a worm gear on each side of the bed to recline and raise the seatback. Each worm gear has a nylon gear that is prone to stripping. In 2016, I replaced the passenger side worm gear, but it has stripped again, and I can no longer find a replacement. Atwood went out of business in 2017. I have checked with Camping World, Dometic and eBay as well as the Roadtrek authorized service center in my area. Does anyone know of a source for the worm gear? The Atwood bed manufacturer I.D. # is L-000492672.
Thanks for your help.

Dometic bought them out, and discontinued much of their stuff. I could not find a match for that number with my dealer account. They don't list any furniture, other then camp chairs, in their product line.
Perhaps try some of the salvage places around the country. Google them up.

Contact a local machine shop with your remaining good part. Have them make a couple of them out of metal.

Or find something that works, and have the shop adapt it.
There are many sources of pre-made gears that can be custom fit for your application, but deep pockets are needed to make them work.
