Atwood Furnace smoke

I have a 2017 Thor Windsport and I am having trouble with my Atwood furnace. I am getting an oily, Smokey haze in side when the furnace runs. It does not set the smoke detector off and it dose not set the carbon monoxide detector off. I ran it a lot over the winter trying to maybe burn anything like oil or paint off of the heat exchanger but it is still doing the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem ?
