Glad to see this. We are staying there early next year for a couple of days on our two month trip to the southeast. We plan to stock up on some bbq in Lockhart?? Judy D

Consider site #108. It overlooks much of the park and the lake down below. Some pretty awesome sunsets, too. There’s some very nice sites on the waterfront, too.

What's a good rv campground near Austin, Texas?

We’ve stayed at Berry Springs RV Park in Georgetown a few times, because it’s adjacent to Berry Sorings Park (not affiliated, but very convenient) which has a few miles of good walking trails in an interesting area.
We’ve also stayed at Okd Settlers (noisy, difficult to get).
We stayed at La Hacienda NW of Austin - very nice, but a long difficult drive.
