Auto generator start/thermostat

I am installing a Xantrex AGS in my motor home. The system works like it should except for the AC thermostat on/off of the generator. I have a RV comfort HP thermostat. I contacted both manufactures,
RV comfort says their thermostat is not not compatable with Xantrex AGS. Xantrex could not answer my question on what thermostat is compatable. I will gladly purchase a new thermostat, I just need to know what will work. Any suggestions?
