Interesting video. We have traveled the route but only as far east as the Painted Desert. Well worth the drive.
One point of interest that wasn't mentioned when he was in Prescott was a Saloon in Whiskey Row called the Palace. It is the oldest saloon in Arizona and it's history is remarkable. If you are ever in Prescott, check it out. The serving staff are dressed in period costume, the bar is still the original (picked up and moved during a fire) and it reportedly has REAL bullets still embedded in it and the food was pretty good too.
