We have a 2006 HR Neptune. We have had the house batteries shut off for several months. I just plugged it back in and there is a backfeed fault dc message on the panel. Any clue to what that might mean and how we can fix it. We have plugs that only work when the inverter is turned on and they are not working. I'm wondering if the inverter is just not charged. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Turn the inverter off and check the power on the 110 side of the inverter. It sounds to me like the land line power is at the inverter. I hope this means that the inverter has protection and will not let ac from other sources destroy the inverter finals.
