Bauer upholstery color choices

Hi everyone,

Like many others, our seats are beginning to peel and generally look bad….so we are engaging Bauer in Iowa to have them re-done. Picking a new color is the hard part so I was wondering, of those of you who have had this done and picked a light color, could you share what you picked and maybe a picture? Ours is currently a tan color and we will probably pick something similar, but may go lighter or darker based on what is offered.

We have looked at the swatches online and also some pictures on their Facebook pages and they often look really different so I was wondering what you all found in your experience. And I know they will send samples, but we are trying to whittle down the choices so I don’t have to ask for too many.

Judy says this is “Doe” done by Bauer about 4 years ago. How she remembered the name I have no idea. The little footrest is an add on that was not recovered.

I learned that the colors are lighter when on than the samples portray. Bauer suggested this color when ordering samples. They are a great group to deal with. Order up some samples, and remember they will look a little bit lighter when on. Best of luck! Judy D

I ordered and reupholstered my captains chairs from Bauer 2 years ago. My original seat covers were the light tan as well. These are the samples I requested from Bauer.

1. 291-3850 Sand

1. 291-3609 Buff

1. 535-3134 Buckskin

1. 535-3340 Desert Tan

We ended up going with the Buckskin. Turned out really nice.

What size are the samples that Bauer sends? And do you know how many they are willing to send?

Did everyone pick by color? Or did you think about whether to choose by texture (I.e. Brisa vs Ultraleather)?
