Bedside Organization

I have a 2016 Allegro Bus 40AP.
What are you all doing for storage on those tiny bedside shelves?
My wife and I struggle with our phones, drinks, glasses, remotes, etc. in a basket we bought.
There isn't much room to work with.
Any thoughts or solutions?

I have a charging station on the counter by the window for phone and iPad. Shelf by bed I use only for my glasses and occasionally a hand massager. Too small for much else.

What about putting a little shelf right above the outlet?
Or modifying the area just underneath the shelf to be a couple inch high slot that phone, glasses or ? would be able to slide into?
Our bedside tables are slightly higher and have space above and below them. You don’t have this amount of space but looks like you could get a wide but short cubby put in there.
