Lots of exercise is needed to wipe out those young engines. A walk doesn't cut it - they need to run and play. See if there is a Camp Bow Wow near you - he'll get to play with dogs his size all day. That will wipe him out. I think they have a 6 month old age minimum though. That company changed my dog in a great way.

Last lab got attacked and nearly killed at Doggy day care at age 1. I was skeptical to take Elli but I did and she loves it. She goes twice a week and she is super social. It does help with socialization and energy but pick your camp wisely. It still worries me but so far so good. It does give me two days of sanity a week from the master manipulator! Elli just texted me from camp that Benjamin should come, she'll protect him!

Benjamin has three “siblings” at home to keep him occupied. Two shelties and a fat chocolate lab. They get along well.

The chocolate is the daughter of the black lab we had to euthanize in March.

So has the lil'guy been on his first RV trip yet?

Not yet. We have no summer travel scheduled. However, we will likely end up at a dog show in the DELMARVA area at some point. We need to socialize him to that environment.

They are all adorable.
