We're researching our next RV, and we're looking for any insight on the manufacturer with the best floor construction. We've had a few problems with our Forest River Heritage Glen having soft spots unrelated to water damage. It basically is poor construction. The floor is a "pancake" of 1/4" wood, 1-1/2" Styrofoam, 1/4" wood. The floor panels have very limited frame supports. Some of the spans are over 40". I understand they do this to reduce weight. Does anyone know of any RV's with better, heavier constructed floors? Perhaps a more common construction, such as 16" on center floor joists? Weight is not a concern. Thanks!
