Hi avery one , je just got a 2025 new thor echelon Lc28. Its installed with floured acid coach battery . On my previous Hurricane , I've installed Lithium battery to get rid of all the maintenance crap of lead acid . Now I know there is A BIM and my idea is to disconect the wire terminal that feeds to house battery and use a Dc/Dc activated from a 12 v wired switch.
My questions are
1- any other fuctions other than feeding chassis battery and house battery alternately and Using house to boost chassis with emergency start ?
2- Where is it located , il disconect the house wire from it and connect the dc/dc to it and run a wire from chassis battery to the Renogy . I don't want either the lithium or the dc/dc to be feed few seconds then the house feed then we go back to house ... that's the way these BIM works from what I found ... and fancy electronic doesn't like that
Where is that BIM located on my thor LC28 class C 2025 ... probably the same place than for winds , chateau and similar class c
