Our Black tank gauge, like most I’ve read about, has shown “full” since our first trip. Normally we just dump every week and have no problems. We have no idea 🤷‍♀️ how much we are dumping though and would like to start, if possible, waiting longer between “dumps”.

Is there a way to know how much flows out when dumping the tank.

I can’t help you there on how much flows out, but to help keep my gauge relatively accurate, I dump the tank before traveling then add a good tank treatment with 4 gallons of water. While traveling the agitation help clean the tank.

We pretty much do the same except our tank treatment consists of a cup of Pine-Sol Cleaner and about a cup of Borax with same about 4 gallons of water. Our coach is 14 years old and the gauges read accurately.
