I recently had the BO base plate added to my Jeep GC and I have a roadmaster tow bar. I was not impressed with the blue ox pins that secures the tow bar arms to the baseplate. It is pretty simple to come loose I think. Does anyone else make a better pin for the BO connectors to the base plate?

probably 20k miles on my current set with no sign of wear. They do make locking pins

Those pins, correctly inserted and secured, will not work themselves loose if that is the concern.

No issues with the pins here. It came with a plastic tab on them to educate the proper way to close them. I included that picture on this site which Joe probably referenced above (didn't check).

Those lynch pins are the same as I've had on my towbars but also the heavy shredders, grader blades, etc I pull behind my tractors. If inserted correctly, they will not come loose.
