2009 Mandalay Presidio 40k, 8.3 ISC. I bought a Bluefire dongle to read info with my Samsung Tablet as a dash board. I can't seem to get it set up. I need help please.

From BlueFire web; "Be careful if you see an Adapter on Amazon or eBay as it may be a counterfeit adapter and not supported.
The Adapter communicates with Apple, Android, and Amazon devices. The BlueFire App is free and available from the associated App Stores. The Apps tab has links to the Apps plus a highly recommended Getting Started document."

Does the Bluefire connect directly to your tablet via adaptor cable?

I haven't used Bulefire, but I do have a "FORscan" (similar) It has an adapter cable from the OSB port to my laptop
via a USB port. I did have to call the Mfg. for initial set up and sync though. I know I did have to download a specific app.

I hope that helps you somewhat

BlueFire website has a forum that might help plus I found their support has helped with resolving issues. I would email them outlining the issue.

I have seen suggestions in changing the Bluetooth timeout setting

I can connect my Samsung Tablet to the Bluefire via Bluetooth. The issue is setting up to see data. Bluefire doesn't have phone support. I emailed them and got a few links. Doesn't all make sense.
