Please tell me about bluefire. I was thinking of getting it and an amazon fire tablet to use it, put the table to the left of the steering wheel.

I like the read outs on my aladdin screen but don't like having to look down and fumble to toggle between camera and readouts while driving. I figure this will cost me around $300+.

This stuff is getting expensive. I've almost been convinced to spend $200+ for 4 more txt sensors for my silverado toad, now I'm thinking I need this bluefire. I had pretty much everything I needed when I had the dually and montana.

Not all tablets are equal. Make sure the app works on the tablet before purchase.

I use Bluefire on Android tablets, Samsung and currently a Lenovo M10. I believe I've seen post about people using Fire tablets either on Bluefield Forums or the thread on the other website. I know there are other users here on RVForums. Happy to help, if I can.

Safe Travels.

If you haven't already found it, see this thread before you buy:

The fraudient adapters were also reported to be available on Amazon.

I think @redbaron did some development work on this. I may be wrong.

I have been using BlueFire for about 4 years. Originally I purchased to use as a diagnostic tool as I had an intermittent air pressure gauge FL said was fine. BlueFire reads from ECM which verified my issue was strictly an indication issue.

I find the electronic gauges hard to read quickly and really rely on BlueFire. I recently made sure I had fault recording active with all the DEF issues, BlueFire retains the codes even if momentary. I have been using iPad mini.

I was on amazon.com today buying battery disconnects since the one in my Monaco went bad. They had a few fire tablets for sale so I went to bluefire website to make sure for the last time that it would be compatible.

All portions of their website are down and have been for a few hours, this isn't an encouraging sign.

BF sites were up yesterday, I downloaded the latest adapter firmware.

Software bugs, servers crash, comm lines go down, power outages, backup generators fail, hurricanes, etc...Retirement Good,,,No longer my problem!

Safe travels,
