I have been using BlueFire for about 4 years. Originally I purchased to use as a diagnostic tool as I had an intermittent air pressure gauge FL said was fine. BlueFire reads from ECM which verified my issue was strictly an indication issue.

I find the electronic gauges hard to read quickly and really rely on BlueFire. I recently made sure I had fault recording active with all the DEF issues, BlueFire retains the codes even if momentary. I have been using iPad mini.
I don't do apple but I did a search and I see that's around an 8 inch screen?
I've been debating on the amazon fire 8 and the 10.
$45 vs $75 on sale.
I'll find some mount to put it to the left of steering wheel and probably use it once we get parked for other things.
I wear 2.5 magnifiers to read.

@redbaron

Throw me a bone here, dawg.
I use it. I have an iPad mini and a galaxy tab so. Both function the same.

I use Bob Ged's screen layout that you can download.

My advice is to have at least a 10inch screen, and it should be dedicated to this role.

2x on @redbaron...10 inch and dedicated. I enjoyed building, and evolving my dash.

OK, stop twisting my arm, it hurts!

Ordered the fire 10 and 4 more tst cap sensors for my toad.

Will verify my plug in the morning and order the bluefire.

Bought 2 battery disconnects (one for a spare) a little while ago because I lost all 12 volt in the coach and it traced to the main battery disconnect.

This motorhome life seems to be more expensive than the 5th wheel life I was living before...

Hi all, just joining the tread.
Have had BF on my '15 Berkshire 40' DP (FL) for the past year to diagnose a problem, later to get better data. Used on both android and iPad . Great device/software.
Just taking delivery of a 2020 Newmar Mountain Aire 45' on FL chassis and looking to see if anyone has any interesting ancillary dash designs specific to MADP. Still working on where it will mount. Have a few ideas for a 1 DIN slide out but time will tell...
Great forum. Thanks!

Another great feature about BlueFire is fault recording and the ability to clear codes. Recently in testing a DEF simulator I got a 3131 code for low Def quantity and it was easy to clear the code using BlueFire

How did it work out for you using an Amazon tablet since you can't incorporate GPS with the app?
