2019 Luna Rover. Lost connection to the brakes. Was intermittent, then failed last trip. Connections were clean, open circuit on ohm meter between brake and ground.
Turned out both magnets bad, I must have just had one brake working for awhile. Brake lining still fine.
Common issue?
 
Thanks for replying. First trailer with brakes, they’re good to have even weighing only 2200lb max. Have pulled my 3k utility trailer fully loaded without brakes and its not fun or something I would do for long distances.
Can’t find any indication Dexter had widespread issues with these.
7 years and 20k+ miles things will happen.
