I didn't know of these until I started RVing and in my opinion these are a must have for every RVer. These are used to secure cables to walls, secure plugs in outlets, etc. to keep our traveling earthquake from having things come out of their intended connection.

 
These are awesome - everyone should have a few of these in the toolbox.
 
been using them for years and if you dont need the screw hole, its in the way, or you just need a regular zip-tie and this is all you have, it is easily snipped off.
 
Recently used a handful while working upside down replacing all my Coach Steps "workings". Makes cleaning up wires a snap. Works good securing piping in a pinch. Definitely worth keeping a stash in ones workbag.
 
Few years ago I found some that were 3' long and been carrying them in the coach for years. I keep telling myself that some day I will need them.
