Cajun Palms, anyone?

I’m looking to spend a little time there on my way west in Feb and am trying to figure out how long I want to stay. Aside from the resort, what is there to do in the area? I looked on TripAdvisor and was underwhelmed.

I only stayed a couple of nights. I wanted to do a swamp tour. I used Champagne Swamp Tour and it was excellent. I was the only one on the boat, the captain was so interesting and full of information. Other than that, the area wasn't really for me.
