Camping along the Maine coast

We are planning a trip to Maine to experience the coastline and lighthouses. Anyone have suggestions for good campgrounds along the coast ?

I was in Main in June and the only thing I saw was a Moose. Well I did see LL Bean was remodeling and may take over Freeport. There are plenty of camping spots because the Canadians are not coming south this year.

If you can get one of the ocean front spots, Moorings Rv Resort in Belfast is nice. Young’s Lobster Pound is right down the road overlooking the harbor.

Oh, I thought it was because of the exchange rate. The mafia must be in Vermont and New York, also. I'm reading that the Rio Grande Valley in Texas is seeing fewer reservations and more cancellations from Canadians this year. I know, because I'm looking, that the resale market for lots in the valley is flooded with sites for sale.
