Question Can a 2021 VW Golf Front Wheel Drive w/Manual Transmission be Flat Towed?

We have a Blue Ox Tow Bar System on our Class A and hope to flat tow the VW Golf.

No reference about flat towing in the Owners manual.
I suspect a Dealer will simply say no.

Blue Ox Company said their newest Base Plate is for a 2018.
They are not sure it would fit a 2021.
If anyone here knows my ears are open!

However, I will stop by a respected VW Repair Shop in the area and ask their opinion, as someone who works on these.
Naturally I will be clear their answer is "off the record".

According to one site I read, Volkswagen does not recommend it.

Welcome to the group.

If it does not say it can in the owners manual, I would think it can not be flat towed.
