I have a dog harness strap in the sofa seat belt and can't release it. These seat belts seem really cheap and worthless. Anyone else had a problem releasing a passenger seat belt? This is not critical, thankfully not a hooman in there but odd that the clip will not release when pressing the crappy plunge release.

I'd contact Newmar. That should be a safety issue.

It’s not a big deal. I may have to wedge something else in. I’m going to Newmar next September and if still not released I’ll show them. They are pulling the sofa to reupholster so swapping the belt would be a 5 minute job. Just curious.

You have to have a 3 year old sofa reupholstered?
you can always attach a strap to the frame for the harness

Yah had that problem. I had to climb all over my friends wife to get her released from the back seat of my truck. Remember I talked about sand/dirt/ and other problems with living in the desert? Well an air gun blew out the dirt and now it works again.
