After my FL service in Gaffney, SC I'm thinking of running up the coast for this end of summer trip I'm about to start on. I'm considering a stop recommended by my BIL to Frisco, NC (Cape Hatteras area). Interesting location. Anyone that's ventured out that way please share your opinions, recommendations, etc.

Neal, we go to the OBX all the time. We’ve driven around and through Frisco, but never stayed there. Our park of choice is Camp Hatteras near Rodanthe. We’ve stayed there about 20 times over the years.

Frisco will be pretty isolated away from the commercialization of Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. On the other hand, you’ll be close to the inlet and if you do any saltwater fishing at all, it is fishing utopia. The seafood in the restaurants is killer.

The OBX vibe is very laid back. Go there once and you’ll be hooked.

Go for it. You won’t regret it.
