Cargo door lock to chassis battery compartment won’t open

2018 dsdp 4362/spartan chassis. Using the remote and the key to unlock and open the bay door to the chassis battery storage. The handle won’t move. It feels like it is locked. Using the key, it will not move either. I’ve tried leaning into the door in case it’s binding. Still immovable. I’ve tried to go under and from the adjacent compartment to spray lubricant or reach the mechanism but it’s limited to no access. All the other bay door locks work as they should.
I’m new to this forum so I thought I’d ask here for suggestions. TIA

Happened to me, stick the red tube from WD40 right into the keyhole and give it a spray, then see if your key can turn it back and forth with the key. Once you get it back open spray it where the lock moves in and out and keep triggering it until it moves freely.

Use Teflon spray. Oil is a dust magnet. Silicone works, but drys to quickly.
