Greetings everyone,
I hope that this post finds everyone well and healthy for 2024

Has anyone had issues of their carpet ceiling flaking off, especially when touching it? Mine is a 2003 rig. Essentially the corking flakes out a synthetic fiber dust. My impression is this cannot be safe to breathe in and living in permanently.

Has anyone sealed or painted theirs to mitigate this?

I’ve tried vacuuming it but made it worst as the fibers appear to be loose-like shedding all over the place and breathing it in, as if the follicle adhesive has been compromised from age and heat. Until I am able to replace it with the vinyl leather looking ceiling, I was thinking of painting it or even trying scotch guard to re-seal it.

Many Thanks
Val
