Question Check engine light

The check engine light keeps coming on that says knock denser I've had both replaced plus wiring and ecm. Is there something common that could be wrong. 8.1 motor gm vortex its a 2004 holiday rambler se by. Admiral

Very hard to diagnose I would say check the wiring to make sure no bad connection or shorted wire. Do you have the actual P codes ?

Sounds like it may be picking up knock.

For every Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) there is a complete diagnostic / repair procedure for it that the manufacture provides to repair technicians. TechLink is GMs website for that. You pay by the day / month / year for access. A small price for quality information and to avoid parts replacement (the ECM was worth a year's access).
