I've noticed squeaking coming from the front while driving and upon inspection found two of the 4 small woodscrews that hold the front of the header near the windshield were broken off and the other two loose. This piece holds the front windshield shades, so it has some weight to support. Since I was replacing shade motors and they were out of the way, I replaced all the screws with a more robust tek screw. Tightened up nicely.

Did Newmar use wood screws or metal screws? One on the left looks like a metal screw.

I had squeaking issues too but it was plastic rubbing on plastic where the A pillar comes down to the plastic dash. I used the fuzzy side of Velcro to wedge between the joint and that silenced it for me.

They used the one on the right but it anchors into steel . The broken originals snapped between the head and thread. I installed the one on the left.

Of course, Newmar seems to be confused when to use proper screws.

I have found metal screws in wood. Now you are finding wood screws in metal. Maybe a prank went wrong on the labeling of the storage bins.
