Just saw this on the FB Newmar Owners Group under Casey Tubman:

I thought you all might be interested to know that this year at Newmar we doubled our open service appointments for non-warranty work at the mothership. We now have appointments open in as soon as 2 weeks. Call your brand specialist to discuss your needs.

That explains how I was able to get such a quick appointment. To be honest, I’m a little disappointed. I thought I was all special and stuff.:(

well you did get your appointment before it was announced

Notice that Casey Tubman is the poster

He was here at the service center a couple days ago doing an interview with a you tube person. They did the factory tour and took videos as well. Don’t remember the you tube individuals name but will be posted at some point.

They did the interview inside the blacked out London Aire.

Don’t like the look either personally but it’s not mine 😊

Andrew Steele was the "Interviewer". He has a popular You Tube channel and does a lot of "RV" stuff!

Yes, that is the name I heard from the group we were sitting with.

I guess my brand specialist didn't get the memo from Casey Tubman. I emailed in about my FWS lock issue and told them I'm a day drive away, I could be there the week of the 28th. I got a prompt reply which was nice:

Good morning,
Unfortunately our service appointments are booked until December. I did look on our website and there are a few Newmar service centers near you that could also look at this.

But when emailing Joe in parts for some springs he said they're shut down next week heading to International. So it's moot. But fortunately the slide came in fine this morning. Hope the lubricant is working its way in. I may pull the bottom panel and look in there as it seems it's not retracting fully like the aft side moves more freely.

This is another one of those great reminders that comes from this sight. Since I have all my slides out I’ll Boshield the lock mechanisms now.
