Finally we got a chip in the middle of the windshield on our way to Salt Lake City. ? Lucky for us it is only about 3/8” and did not radiate.
DW made Appointment with Safelight Autoglass to come and patch it at our location Pony Express RV Resort.
Hope it holds for the rest of the trip (2 months)?
If the windshield is replaced, the Magneshade magnets have to be done too.

We got 2 on our trip in May. One had legs about 1” total. The other is a 1/2” frown. Marked them with perm marker to monitor growth- none at all so far thru probably 4000 miles and 15+ setups and teardowns. Waiting it out.

We got a small one near the bottom of passenger side. So small, I didn’t notice until we were parked for a few days. Safelite attempted to fix several times, but was unsuccessful. We have annual service appointment in September...insurance company talked with Newmar and added windshield replacement to list.
