We have, of course, both vinyl and carpet in our motorhome. For cleaning floors, I have:
- a Swiffer (not a fan, but it does ...ok ....for an RV),
- a small hand brush/pan that I keep near the door for the steps,
- and I haul in my house vacuum (a pain!) to vacuum it out between trips, mainly for the carpet. I'm looking into getting rid of all the carpet eventually.
- I TRY to keep outdoor shoes in the step/well area, but that's hard to enforce.
I don't want to hear a PEEP
. from those who are lucky enough to have central vac (I'm looking into that later).
For vacuuming, I'm thinking a cordless stick vac, and there's a zillion out there. The previous owner left a dustbuster type thing, but ugh, my poor back!
What do you use?
And for mopping, I don't like the swiffer; I dislike poking the pads into the base and pinching my fingers

...and it flip-flops around.... but I can deal with it.
I'm open to ideas for easier mopping.
