It is with great sadness that I process the news of hearing that the Winfield plant is being closed with manufacturing of the Wayfarer being migrated to the Tiffin mothership at Red Bay. The employees that I met while visiting Winfield those three days back in 2018 to follow my first rig build through the production line were all such great, caring people. It was so obvious to me that they truly cared about the quality of their work and delighting their customers and they took enormous pride in their work.
This will deeply impact those employees, their families, and the local community as this major employer for the area closes that facility. My heart goes out to them.
