Well I loved my Sol Horizon InTech trailer when I bought it two years ago. My lady friend and our two little dogs did a few adventures and loved buying stuff and planning for our adventures.
After having a few bouts with walking pneumonia I found that setting up camp was more than I could handle and still call our adventures "Fun".
So I decided to let go of the Sol Horizon. I took it to a dealer who took on consignments and also sold Intech products.
$400. Fee and a set fee for them to pay me.
They listed it for $4k over fair price. A month after I brought it to them a service person called me with a looonnngggg list of items that needed attention.
Consignment manager called a week later and wanted me to have their service department attend to all of these items. He said he didn't have an estimate and noted that their departments are quite separate.
Next day service called and emailed an estimate. $3000.
So therefore I'm being told that a potential $8k amount between their posted asking price and my set return amount and $3k income for their service department not to mention $$$ made on financing sounds fair and just???
I asked if I could offer a cash bonus for salesperson who would sell it "as is" . Wait for it, sure if I drop my set amount $3k.
Well they won't sell it "as is" unless I pay their service dept $3k or I can come and get it. 50 miles away.
Well, now I need to smarten up on how to move pics from phone to puter and attach stuff and not get scammed and how the heck to mess with titles and tags. AAUUUGGHHHH!!
I will enjoy meandering around this forum though. I still watch the utuber rv folks.
Happy Trails!

Cut your losses, go pick it up and list it on RV Trader. Pay them ~$100.00, Upload a few photos and watch for the scammers. RV’s aren’t exactly hot items of late, but if you price it right you never know.

Good advice

I sold my Newmar New Aire Class A in a week on RV Trader. Documented it well, price it right and it will move quickly. Only downside is you have to fight off the tire kickers. Best screen for a tire kicker is if they ask questions easily answered by just doing some internet research. I simply do not respond to inquiries that ask questions easily answered by looking up the product specs on the internet. Suggests they are not a serious buyer.
