I've been told, although I have not done it yet, that the cooktop in certain Newmar's can be removed and taken outside for use. Has anyone done this before?

Our 2017 DS induction cook top has that ability. We prefer to carry and use a portable single burner induction stove on the counters and outside.

So how is it done? Just lift it out and plug it in outside?

Just lift it out and unplug it. Be careful, it is expensive to replace if broken.
