To set the record straight, he called Noone low quality. He said higher quality. Please don't interject negative where it is not alluded to.
I see myself as living to a higher standard, however I am not saying everyone else is lower quality. See the difference?
Where I went to school the antonym of higher is lower. It came in handy when I was rigging for Brown and Root down in South Texas too, higher meant 'not lower'. It wasn't ambiguous.

Yes! And when talking frame of mind, positive gets better results.

I would not even attempt that in a million years! Do you value your life, property, and relatives?
If Costa Rica is a desired destination for you, fly there & back.

Just my opinion--your mileage may vary. :)
i did my research all the countries are on the not recommend countries to travel in. also so is uk, France and most European countries. Oh i forgot Costa rica also. I would rather you not answer my post, i asked for things i need to know not opinions and the opinion you gave showed you had done no research nor do you appear to have an education except the news which is usually exaggerated and biased. Do you understand

very dead serious i am doing my planning now. that is why i asked questions. i did not live to 79 doing stupid things. this is risky i know that. but i would not have made it for 79 years if i were not smart enough to do all my research. i is kind of like you can eat snow, just don't eat the yellow snow.
if you have nothing good to add will you just ignore my postings.

thank you and i have started corresponding with people who are nice and don't use the keyboard to use their bi-polar minds to go out of their way to expose their hate and play keyboard wars like some of the people on this forum.
Firsty... Wow!! If you do go keep us in the loop.

Secondly, Costa Rica is ABOVE Panama. You don't need to go there. The road that is unpaved. Are you thinking of the Derien Gap? It is not passable with any NORMAL vehicle let alone a motorhome.
There are campgrounds along your way. I did a quick Google Earth search. See pics of what I found. There are probably lots more.

Buying water may not be your biggest problem. I would worry more about finding water SAFE TO DRINK! What comes out of taps in third world countries (inc Mexico) may not be good for you. I know there are some pretty amazing filtration systems out there for sale. I would strongly look into one. As far as dumping your sewer.......I don't want to go there.

Safe travels
well you tried to help, but i should have been more specific . I chose to move there in the future. i don't know where you got your information road not paved partly true 25% of the roads are paved. i see nothing wrong with using just any water for flushing and even showering, however drinking and washing dishes would be wise to filter. Montezuma's revenge is real. A friend did not listen to the warnings. two weeks of diarrhea is like paying tuition to a college course on don't drink the water. Mexico uses human waste as fertilizer. I will not be anywhere near the Darian Gap. I probably spent 10 hours looking for camp grounds and some one suggested google maps, learned something. Also from a traveler who makes the trip often told me the all night gas stations are safe and do not mind you staying so long as you buy fuel. thank you for your time

Let me suggest that if the possibility of incurring a fine is all that's stopping you from dumping your raw sewage in a ditch in Mexico you might want to check the arrogance before you cross over. Would it be okay for someone to do that where you live?
have you ever heard the term rtfq that stand for read the full question and here was my post on sewer Where can i dump legally. maybe pay to dump in someone's sewer. I reread my post and i was asking for help and education and i get accused of being arrogant. i might suggest you as doctor to give you a Demetia test. i am not trying to be a smart ass but do not seem to be not quite all there.

We have been taking our 2023 Casita trailer to Costa Rica every year for a couple years now and we have driven to Guatemala most years for a couple decades. Frankly, the people are higher quality and more friendly than in the US. Way nicer and far lower cost places to spend the winter months than in US too. Just don't do anything stupid. You can Google our trailer name for more details if interested.

"Los Gatos Casita"
thank you for your nice post. i wish i could say the same for some of the post.

I'm no social savant, but let me suggest not calling other people "low quality" may produce better overall outcomes for you. Not the least of which would apparently be friendliness.
he said friendlier than in the United States. I am serious about you need a demetia test. It is common knowledge every drink a person takes destroy a few brain cells. a lot of people with dementia forget things, misunderstand things. Many dementia patients have killed them selves by doing something as simple and forgetting to turn off the stove and burn to death. If you do get tested please share the findings and i will add it to my list of things i did to help people.

Please keep it friendly. We don't provide medical advice here nor tell people to take dementia tests. This is getting on the edge of violation of the site's terms. We come here to enjoy the RV lifestyle. If you can't say something nice, remove hands from keyboard please and come back another day.
