The couch that came with our RV is only a year old, has never been used as a bed but is getting very uncomfortable even for just sitting. Is there a company out there that makes an upgraded couch bed for RV’s?

FWIW RV jack-knife sofas are outrageously priced for IMO uncomfortable garbage.
there are companies that make them specific for RV's

What I did was tear mine out, weighed and measured it, then searched for regular home sofas that were the same dimensions and weight..

I decided I didn't want nor have any need for a sleeper, and I preferred a reclining sofa over the upright jack-knife that my trailer came with.

I found what I wanted in the same size (68" wide) and it weighs 80lbs less (no sleeper). For $350 at a local furniture store, then searched for the exact same unit on Amazon so I could get it unassembled and be able to bring it into the trailer.

assembled it in the trailer and used some pip3 straps from home depot to secure it to the floor.
