Strongly considering getting rid of the couch but still want to be able to sleep guest occasionally. Do you have any pictures of remodeling I could consider.
 
We removed the sofa and replaced it with a desk. We found that the sofa was where we dropped things off when we came home (full timer). Now we have a space for each of us to do our hobby stuff. Plus additional storage with the deep drawers. We saved the air mattress and figured we could just put it in the floor for our overnight company which we rarely have.
