Cover Recommendations, Sol Horizon

I’m not having much luck finding a quality, breathable cover that fits an Intech Sol Horizon. Anyone have a brand and model they like?

Additionally, would it be ill advised to throw a waterproof tarp over the cover (roof only) during the worst of the rainy season in Seattle (September-June)?

Unfortunately, I will be storing it outside, in the Pacific Northwest. Building carport or cover is not in the cards. I currently have a teardrop that stores in the garage. We get about 40 nights a year, but we have decided to go bigger. Everything is a compromise.

There is never a situation where a perfectly good Rv will end up better by using a cover.

The Rv is designed to be outside and to breath just like a house. Covers prevent this and cause mold, mildew, wood softening, cabinet rot, flooring rot, ceiling rot, and surface paint scratches.

There is no substitute for proper maintenance. Keep the roof sealed, caulk all openings and penetrations (doors, windows, trim, air conditioner, sky lights, etc).

Washing, waxing, and keeping it maintained is all that you need.

When we lived on Vancouver Island, the first two years we had the coach covered in a storage lot. Worst thing we could have done. The air is salty so things started to rust and moss was growing in places. We began using it year round after that and discovered that by using it and washing after taking it out kept in much better condition. We also used a fairly big dehumidifier running when we used it.
