If we have all paperwork, shots, vaccines any issues with crossing the U.S. - Canada border with dogs?

Chances are you won't be asked about your dog going either direction. We cross frequently between WA & BC with our dog and have been asked once in about 10 years by CBP going south to show proof of rabies vaccination. The Canadians are more interested in keeping chicken out of their country...... ya never know when a rouge hen or rooster might go off!

It's been years for us, but we had roughly the same experience as @Diesel Pusher .. nobody even looked at our dog paperwork.

It helped that our pug tended to be bossy and noisy, worked at the in-country border patrol stations in AZ as well, they'd just wave us through as our pug gave them the business ;-)
