I saw several Cyber trucks at the EAA AirVenture airshow in Oshkosh, WI. It was interesting seeing one pull a decent size travel trailer. It looks like a beast. I did a quick google on the towing capacity and it appears to be 11K lbs. In the beginning I thought Elon was nuts with this contraption but I have to say I think it's cool.

Yeah, you probably thought Jeff was nuts also.

Pontiac Aztecs are breathing a collective sigh of relief.

I think the idea was great in Meta verse, but bad in the real world!!!

Too bad that it can only pull that 11k for a hundred miles or so before needing a charge
Wonder how many watts you can put on the roof? Maybe a diesel generator in the cargo area.

11k lbs but only for 100 miles or so between charges regardless of Elon’s claims.

I haven't been to Oshkosh but my understanding is you camp in a field with no hookups. If so, how did they recharge their trucks? Generator?
Just for grins I asked an AI how long it takes to recharge on 20 amp outlet and got this back (I can't vouch for it's accuracy):
How long does it take to recharge a cybertruck on 20 amp plug
Based on the provided information, the Cybertruck’s home charging station provides 11.5 kW at 48 amps. However, we need to estimate the charging time using a 20-amp plug.

Assuming a 20-amp Level 1 charger (120V), the Cybertruck’s charging rate would be approximately 2.4 kW (20 amps x 120V).

From the search results, we can infer that the Cybertruck’s battery has a capacity of around 200 kWh. To estimate the charging time, we can use a rough calculation:

Charging rate: 2.4 kW (20-amp Level 1 charger)
Battery capacity: approximately 200 kWh
Using this information, we can estimate the charging time for the Cybertruck on a 20-amp plug:

200 kWh (battery capacity) ÷ 2.4 kW (charging rate) ≈ 83 hours

EAA AirVenture has water/electric sites and they add more every year. I've never seen so many W/E sites as I saw this year and I was lucky to use one as a friend couldn't make it and let me use his. They guy next to me pulled a very small TT with a Rivian and he used the pedestal to charge it.
