I live in Ms. and only use the dehumidifier when I put the MH in the storage building. I keep it around 45 - 50%. When in use the humidity stays around 50% with AC or heat maybe a little lower.

What is a dehumidifier? Pretty much an A/C unit that both sides exit air in the room.

For that reason, when using heat, use the dehumidifier. When using A/C don't, why introduce heat to a room you are trying to cool?

If there is enough humidity in the air to be bothersome down south, typically it is time to use the A/C which dries the RV out quickly. In the winter in FL mostly the air is dry enough, all is needed is open air circulation.
If we are traveling North in the winter, The LP furnace in our RV typically dry out the interior reasonably well when needed.

I use a small one most of the time (1500ml).I try to keep the humidity below 50%.

Now in Fl. Two small dehumidifiers and A/C barely keep it down to 50% humidity. May have to buy a large one.
